Associated Construction Women Supporting Women in Construction

The Associated Construction Women (ACW) 18th Annual Golf Tournament was a history-making event.  Our 2011 tournament was blessed with 16 teams, awesome sponsors, great food and a hard-working crew of construction women determined to make this annual fund-raiser a success.

But that wasn't all.  The weather was delightful.  In a summer of 90+ temperatures, Friday, August 12th, was refreshing in comparison.  And speaking of refreshing, what about that all-ladies team from Fleming Machine?  Thank you, Lynn Rader, Traci Smith, Jennifer Lucas and Mimsy Fleming for bringing your team to our event and CONGRATULATIONS!  You are the first women's team to win our event. 

Proceeds from this fundraiser will add another installment to the ACW scholarship endowment at East Tennessee State University (ETSU) in Johnson City for a scholarship to be awarded annually to a minority student in a construction-related major.  We look forward to presenting that check to the university.  Thanks to everyone who made this possible.
