ACW 17th ANNUAL GOLF CLASSIC Print E-mail

Friday the 13th . . . A Great Day for Golf!

Associated Construction Women (ACW) threw a Friday the 13th golf party! Yes, the 2010 Annual ACW Golf Tournament took place as scheduled on Friday, August 13th.  Yes, it was hot!  The drink carts had to be refilled numerous times, making it possible for the golfers to keep going because there was much fun to be had and many opportunities to be a winner.  The debut of the "Vegas Hole" was a delightful addition to the usual putting, longest drive, closest-to-the-pin and hole-in-one competitions.  Proceeds from this fundraiser will begin the endowment process at East Tennessee State University (ETSU) in Johnson City for a scholarship to be awarded annually to a minority student in a construction-related major.

Many, many thanks to all of our sponsors, players and members who gave of their time and money to make this day happen.
