When ACW meets on November 10, 2011, there will only be 44 more shopping days until Christmas and only 52 more days until 2012 is upon us!  Before you go into Christmas and New Year preparation overload, come join the ACW ladies for a time of celebration. 

What are we celebrating?  We are basking in the glow of a very successful ACW Golf Tournament, held August 14, 2011.  To continue our celebration, we will have a "big" check to present to representatives from ETSU.  This check will be the second installment of our endowment of an ACW scholarship for a student in a construction related field.   You will have the opportunity to hear a little bit about the construction programs at ETSU and to meet Jeff Anderson, Associate Vice President for University Advancement and Planned Giving, Dr. Ken Kellogg, Co-ordinator of the Construction Engineering Technology program and Dr. Keith Johnson, Chair of the Department of Technology.

What are we celebrating?  We are basking in the glow of a very successful ACW Annual Wine 'N Dine event at Flemings Prime Steakhouse and Wine Bar on October 27, 2011.  How successful was it?  Come to our ACW meeting and see as we present a check for the event proceeds to ACW member Susan Burgis-Parrish, Excecutive Director of Habitat for Humanity, Anderson County.  Thank you to everyone who made this event possible.

We are returning to Rothchild Catering at 8807 Kingston Pike in Ten Mile Center, Knoxville, TN. Social time begins at 5:45 pm with dinner served at 6:30 pm. As always, Rothchild Catering has planned a "better than tasty" meal for us to include salad, entree, freshly baked rolls, coffee & tea, a scrumptious dessert and excellent personal service - all of this for only $20.00 per person.
