ACW History

Associated Construction Women (ACW) was originated and incorporated for the exclusive benefit of women working in and/or interested in the construction industry in the East Tennessee area in 1994.

Founded by women who have worked in the industry for some time and have been involved with the industry's organizations, ACW brings you the knowledge and experience of its originators, and the excitement and new insight of its younger members.

Membership Services range from aid in job placement to informative and educational programs such as Blue Print classes, First Aid & CPR Classes and construction-related programs. Our annual golf tournament offers great organizational training as well.

Mission Statement

Organized in Knoxville, exclusively for women who want to contribute to their industry, community and members on a local level. Our mission is to promote growth through education, friendship and support.

ACW is open to women employed in any facet of the construction industry.

Meeting Information

Meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month from 5:45 pm to 8:00 pm at Rothchild Catering in Ten Mile Center.

5:45 - 6:30 : Social, Meet & Greet
6:30 - 8:00 : Dinner, Meeting & Speaker
