BLUEPRINT CLASSES ARE BACK! |
|
|
February 9 - March 15, 2012
Blue Print Classes have been a service that ACW has provided to the construction industry for many years. Located at the AGC office at 3306 Ragsdale Ave, the classes are held for 6 consecutive Thursday evenings, running from 6-9 pm. Instructors are from McCarty, Holsaple, McCarty and Studio Four Design Architecture Group and all materials and books are furnished for students.
The classes are open to all interested men and women and are particularly suited for those in the construction industry. The Basic course covers introduction to terms in prints as well as solutions to math problems frequently encountered when reading construction documents. The Advanced course covers details and the various disciplines routine in building construction, such as mechanical, electrical and structural systems.
The course is designed to give the maximum amount of information in the shortest amount of time to those employed to build or bid from blue prints. Subcontractors and those who work for them would benefit from the course as well. The Basic course is $175 and the Advanced course is $200.
